Women's, Children and Maternal Health

Women’s, Children and Maternal Health services are provided from Manoora’s Rainforest building and the Edmonton Clinic. Female health practitioners are available at both the Manoora and Edmonton Clinics. 

Our team consists of doctors, immunisation nurse, child health nurse, midwife, health workers, psychologist, paediatrician, paediatric cardiologist, obstetrician – gynaecologist, wellbeing workers and administration officers.

Programs include:

  • Healthy Happy Families which focuses on respectful relationships and keeping children safe and secure
  • First Time Mums (Australian Nurse – Family Partnership Program) which supports first time mums from pregnancy until their baby is two years old
We pride ourselves on our ability to provide continuity of care through regular clinic contact, follow-up and supports, promotional and educational services including referrals and liaising with the other health agencies and services in and around the Cairns region.
