The focus of the Registered Nurse, Women, Children and Maternal Health is improving the health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families through the provision of a comprehensive and high-quality approach to the continuity of care, effective screening, assessment and follow-up services.
The successful applicant will hold a nursing degree together with a current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a Queensland immunisation endorsement. Recent practical experience in child health within a community health setting is highly desirable.
