At Wuchopperen, Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Health Workers play a pivotal role in the primary health care workforce as the first point of contact providing clinical and primary care for individuals, families and community groups.
Through our clinics our doctors are able to provide a ‘one-stop-shop’ for our community’s health needs.

Wuchopperen is governed by a 10-person Board of Directors elected annually by Wuchopperen members. The Board of Directors set the strategic direction for the organisation and guide the Management Team to ensure all strategic priorities are met and the organisation continues to work towards the achievement of its vision.
The Executive Team of five members provides leadership and vision to meet the culturally appropriate needs of our community.
Wuchopperen acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging, the holders of our culture, memories, tradition and hopes.
