The Intake and Engagement Officer provides the Family Wellbeing program with a process for central intake or referrals and assessment. The position would suit an applicant who holds a tertiary qualification in Community Services or similar field or demonstrated, extensive experience in community services or child protection.
The Intake and Engagement Officer is an Identified position. It is a genuine occupational requirement that an Identified position be filled by an Aboriginal person or Torres Strait Islander person, as permitted by and arguable under Section 25, 104 and 105 of the Queensland Anti-Discrimination Act (1991).
