Clinical Nurse Consultant

Full Time

Remuneration: $106,389 per annum plus 12% superannuation

Based in Cairns

The Clinical Nurse Consultant will provide a key role within clinical teams to provide support to Executive Directors and Managers in maintaining compliance with accreditation standards, legislative requirements and procedures to achieve and maintain evidence-based culturally safe and effective practice in primary health care.  The Clinical Nurse Consultant will also perform a key role in the provision of clinical guidance and support to nursing staff.

The successful applicant will have a qualification degree in Nursing, current registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA), Queensland immunisation endorsed and a minimum of five years’ experience in Primary Health Care. Midwife qualification and registration with AHPRA, is highly desirable.
