Wuchopperen is a Community Controlled Aboriginal Health Organisation providing holistic health care services to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people of Cairns.

Based in Cairns

The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for providing strategic financial leadership and ensuring the delivery of cost effective and efficient financial and asset management systems that meet the current and future business needs of Wuchopperen.

The successful applicant will hold a tertiary qualification in accounting together with extensive experience in a similar role and will be a Chartered Accountant or Certified Practising Accountant.

To be eligible for interview, applicants must respond to the selection criteria in the position description and provide certified copies of any relevant qualifications.

Applicants for a specified position must have an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person who is recognised and accepted in the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community; provide a written reference to support their ability to meet selection criteria 5.
